The Senior Video
The senior video came about four years ago. The seniors in 2005 came up with the idea to make a commercial for VNN (Viking News Network) to advertise Senior Night. After much discussion, they decided to do a parody of a popular movie that the BV students would like. Then they talked to Father Beretta who "co-starred" in the first video. What came about was a 16 minute parody that was too long for VNN so they decided to show it in the theater during all lunch periods. It was a huge success. Now, every year the day of Senior Night, the basketball team shows the movie parody (written by the coaches and seniors) during all three lunch periods. Almost every BV student looks goes to see the film. The only other time the film is shown is at the senior night festivities. Parents, relatives, and friends head into the Anderson Theater to see the production.
