Herting is in his 12th season as the head coach at BVHS. WInningest boys basketball coach in school history with 230 wins. Career record stands at 303-131.

Kyle Lantz Asst Coach
Kyle is in his 9th year as a Verot assistant coach. Has also served as 9th grade and JV assistant. Played at Bishop Verot. This is his third year as a varsity assistant coach.

Garret is in his sixth season at Verot. Served as head freshmen coach for two seasons and head JV coach for two seasons. This will be his second year as a varsity assistant. Played at Bishop Verot.

Jeff is in his third year as head freshmen coach. Relocated to Ft. Myers from Ohio in 2006. Son, Alec, played on the varsity team for two seasons.
Casey is in his fifth season assisting the varsity team. Casey was an outstanding player for the Vikings from 1998-2001. For those Verot fans who have been around, Casey is well known as the greatest "Clutch Shooter" in Verot history. In a one year period during his junior and senior seasons, Casey did (3 times) what every kid dreams of.... he hit three game winning three point shots at the buzzer while his team trailed by 2. For those of us who were there, it was AWESOME!

Zack is in his second year coaching on the BV staff. After playing at Avarett College, VA for 3 seasons, Zack is returning home to coach at his alma mater where he was a 3 year letterman.
